did a quick session on father's day (and lagged a bit to put these up).  it was a nice day overall.  got some work done, had some family time and treated the bd out to dinner.  we indulged in chicken and waffles at gussies, which i highly recommend.  it feeds my roscoe's cravings.  this semi-sheer blouse is new.  i've worn it almost every day this week.  it's great alone, as a layer, over a dress or tied at the waist.  my marc jacobs bag holds sentimental value.  it was my 'diaper bag' :)  i love that thing.

pride is this weekend in sf.  i live and have a business in eureka valley, which houses the castro, so the hood will be a madhouse.  if you haven't been to pride, and you live in the bay area, you should come on by.  it's always a fun time.

my kind's your kind

vintage hand-crocheted top & wrap maxi skirt

i took my daughter to stow lake yesterday for a paddle boat ride. we enjoyed lunch on the lake and fed the birds. we also took the time for some photos. my photographer is 4.5 years old :) thank you, little miss adorabella for being such a huge help in my blogging efforts. check her out. she's a doll.

i have to admit, i'm having fun dressing-up and taking photos of myself. i'm still learning how to use my camera. a few of the photos that are overexposed happened on accident (obvs). i like the result. my daughter gives her opinions on my outfit choices. this jacket, a recent find, is one of her faves simply beacuse it hosts her favorite colors. i love it for the pattern. my pants are also a recent purchase which i found during a thrifting extravaganza in los angeles. there are so many pretty things waiting to be found in la...

alexandra jumpsuit

I love this jumper. It's so lightweight and comfy with pretty printed poppy flowers dominating the fabric. You can dress this up or down. I wore it to a garden wedding this past weekend under a black crocheted cardi. I complimented my outfit with a red and turquoise colored cross that I found in my box of random accessories, a gold-colored leather leaf earring I bought at a flea market in Plaça de Catalunya, Barcelona and my DIY trio of black feathers earring. My awesome friend, Alexandra hooked my hair up with a waterfall braid, which I've been trying so hard to do on myself, but fail every single time. I wish I had more photos to share, but we were running a ton later than normal.

I'm currently working on updating goldenGrey's inventory. When we're back up and running, this jumpsuit will be on sale. Have a fantastic weekend!

today was the first day of nice weather in san francisco. i could've went without tights, but played it safe. i'm looking forward to this week as weather.com promises sunshine. the pretty summer dresses have been in hiding for longer than i'd like. more shots to follow.
